| | | Maui soul surfer Dale Dagger first discovered Nicaragua aboard his catamaran Tonga in the late seventies. He washed ashore here after he ship-wrecked on a nearby beach. Now a decade later, Dale runs a successful surf tour company, charters his 3 boats to world-class beach breaks, reefs and points along the virgin Nicaraguan coastline and has recently decided to join the ever growing Nicaragua tourism with Dale Dagger Tours. This gives those adventurous souls a chance to experience Nicaragua and hopefully fall in love with it like he has. You'll find Dale's story in the surf/adventure press; profiles of Dale Dagger have appeared recently in Outside, Surfer, and Surfers' Journal.His character is also a role in the non-fiction novel, "Searching for Captain Zero".
